Announcing a generous $1.5 million dollar gift for Lipoedema Research

The University of Arizona, Tucson, is pleased to announce that they have received a generous donation from Alumna Felicitie Daftaur, in order to aid the study of atypical fat tissue, including Lipoedema. Dr. Karen Herbst MD, PhD, is an internationally noted UA researcher and is an associate professor of medicine in the UA Division of Endocrinology. The gift will enable Dr. Herbst to expand her efforts to better understand, diagnose, and treat adipose tissue disorders (ATDs).
